has been appointed President of the NE Senior Tennis Foundation
replacing Peter Vieira who recently passed away. Peter is a new inductee

number of senior NE tennis players heard Curt was writing his childhood
memoirs about he and his family's three plus years in civilian POW
prisons in the Philippines "courtesy" of the Japanese invaders in WWII.
This is a very unique experience that most who know Curt did not know

the Possibility of Creating NE "Senior Slam" Tournaments |

Players Committee set up the "Senior Slam" task force at their last
meeting held 9/23/08. This task force can also consist of players not on
the Players Committee as there is much work to be done to make this a
reality by 2010. Any of you reading this who would like to be involved,
contact Ken Miller. The task force currently consists of Ken Miller
(Chair), Dorcas Miller, Lance Anderson, Amy Read, Leah Kadesh, Dag
